About This Role

This full-time Nurse Manager position leads nursing operations within the Concord Opioid Treatment Program (OTP). The role focuses on building strong teams, supporting exceptional patient care, and helping individuals on their recovery journey achieve lasting wellness. It suits a strong leader who enjoys mentoring others while remaining connected to patient care.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily operations of the nursing department, including staffing, scheduling, onboarding, training, and employee development
• Provide leadership, coaching, and performance feedback to nursing staff while fostering a culture of accountability and teamwork
• Support program growth through goal setting, performance monitoring, and continuous improvement initiatives
• Promote patient safety and ensure the delivery of high-quality, patient-centered care
• Collaborate with physicians, clinical staff, families, and support departments to coordinate care and address patient needs
• Serve as a clinical resource and work as a staff nurse when necessary to maintain adequate coverage
• Support organizational policies, procedures, and best practices while ensuring compliance with regulatory and licensing standards
• Lead quality improvement and performance management initiatives related to nursing services and patient outcomes
• Monitor and maintain required competencies, certifications, and licensure for nursing staff
• Address workplace concerns and utilize problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills to support a healthy work environment
• Complete employee evaluations and implement development plans when needed
• Maintain accurate documentation, records, and reporting requirements

• Three (3) or more years of leadership or supervisory experience
• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in North Carolina or a multistate license recognized through the Nurse Licensure Compact
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
