SCOPE OF RESPONSIBILITIES:
Assumes responsibility coordinating and/or conducting screenings as outlined by the KBN AOS #30 on scope and
standards of the roles of nurses in school nursing practice to help ensure children are not experiencing barriers to
learning. Support identification of students who may need further medical follow up. Provide support for district
initiatives that support student health, including but not limited to the Vaccines for Children (VFC) program as
needed.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Current Kentucky license as Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse
- Effective communication skills
