This community-based role as a Nurse Educator supports parents and carers of infants and young children, enhancing family functioning and promoting childhood development and parental wellbeing. The position involves health promotion, education, developmental assessments, and clinical care within one of the MATSICHS clinics. It also ensures care is integrated across internal services, including primary care clinics, Birthing in Our Community, Family Wellbeing Services, social health, allied health, and paediatric services, and delivers comprehensive home visiting services to women pregnant with an Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander baby and their families in partnership with a Family Worker.
