About the role
We are seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist to perform diagnostic imaging procedures safely and independently, ensuring high-quality results and patient care.
Responsibilities include verifying clinician orders, obtaining clinical history, administering radiopharmaceuticals, and preparing patients for procedures while maintaining patient dignity and comfort. The technologist sets up and operates imaging equipment, reviews images for quality, and ensures proper documentation and timely transmission to PACS.
Key duties involve equipment maintenance, infection control, patient transport, and support with clerical tasks. The role requires excellent communication, customer service, and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, ARRT-N or CNMT certification, BLS certification, and at least one year of clinical or NM experience. Skills in independent judgment, critical thinking, multitasking, and teamwork are essential. The position may involve mentoring, participating in departmental training, and taking call as needed.
