About the role
We are seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist responsible for performing a variety of technical procedures to produce high-quality diagnostic images for patient care.
Key Duties Include
- Providing safe, age-appropriate patient care and verifying clinical information.
- Setting up equipment, positioning patients, and administering radiopharmaceuticals following established protocols.
- Ensuring image quality, reviewing images, and maintaining equipment in optimal condition.
- Responding to emergencies, maintaining infection control, and supporting departmental operations.
- Communicating effectively with patients, families, and healthcare staff to explain procedures and address concerns.
- Documenting procedures accurately, ensuring compliance with standards, and participating in quality control.
- Assisting with training, supporting team members, and maintaining departmental readiness.
Qualifications Include
- High School diploma or GED, with completion of an accredited radiologic or nuclear medicine program.
- Certification in ARRT-N or CNMT, and BLS certification.
- Minimum of 1 year clinical or nuclear medicine experience preferred.
- Excellent communication, customer service, and multitasking skills.
- Ability to work independently, demonstrate critical thinking, and adhere to safety and regulatory standards.
