About the role

Role Overview: An experienced nuclear medicine technologist responsible for preparing and administering radiopharmaceuticals, operating imaging and radiation detection equipment, and performing diagnostic and therapeutic procedures in a hospital setting.

  • Key Responsibilities: Prepare radiopharmaceuticals, operate imaging equipment, perform stress tests, conduct quality control checks, monitor patient vital signs, document procedures, and follow safety protocols.
  • Collaborative Duties: Work with clinical staff to conduct stress testing and imaging studies, participating in on-call rotations as needed.
  • Qualifications & Skills: Associate or bachelor’s in nuclear medicine technology, current state license and certification, BLS certification, experience with dose calibrators, Geiger counters, and stress lab equipment, and ability to work in a fast-paced hospital environment.
  • Preferred Experience: At least 1 year working as a nuclear medicine technologist and participation in nuclear procedures.
