National Inspection & Consultants (NIC), an Element Company, is actively seeking experienced Level II MT/PT/VT Technicians to support ongoing NAVSEA work in Virginia.
POSITION DETAILS
Location: Virginia
Duration: Long-Term – 12+ Months
Industry: Naval / Shipbuilding / Defense
Responsibilities
- Perform Magnetic Particle (MT), Liquid Penetrant (PT), and Visual (VT) inspections on structural welds in accordance with NAVSEA requirements
- Work effectively in a shipyard/NAVSEA environment
Required Qualifications
- Current ASNT Level II MT, PT & VT certifications
- Documented classroom training and OJT/experience hours
- Ability to successfully complete a stringent background screening
- Current and valid Driver’s License
- NAVSEA/shipyard experience strongly preferred
