Job Description We are currently looking for a Non-Ferrous Receiver Labourer to join our team in Victoriaville .
The person in this position will mainly be responsible for the receiving, sorting, and handling of non-ferrous metals . The work is primarily performed indoors, with some occasional outdoor tasks depending on operational needs.
This position is focused on manual work, material handling, and metal sorting in a dynamic industrial environment. We are looking for someone reliable, active, and comfortable with physical work.
What you will be responsible for :
- Welcome customers and follow established procedures;
- Unload, sort, and identify different types of non-ferrous metals;
- Weigh and classify materials and enter information into the system;
- Prepare incoming and outgoing material shipments;
- Operate the forklift safely;
- Keep the work area, equipment, and workplace clean and in good condition;
- Perform basic equipment inspections and maintenance;
- Wear the required PPE and perform other related duties.
Qualifications To join our team :
- You have experience in an industrial environment (asset);
- You have experience operating a forklift or other equipment (asset);
- You have knowledge of different types of metals (asset);
- You are comfortable with manual and physical work;
- You are comfortable working indoors and outdoors as needed;
- You are responsible, punctual, resourceful, and safety-conscious;
- You enjoy working as part of a team and collaborating with your colleagues.
