About This Role
Driving a 26-foot refrigerated box truck on local delivery routes is the core of this role, transporting wholesale food products to various customers. This opportunity suits a dependable driver looking for a consistent schedule and local routes, ensuring goods are delivered safely and efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate a 26′ refrigerated box truck on local delivery routes
- Deliver wholesale food products to restaurants, grocery stores, and food service customers
- Unload products at customer locations using a hand truck/dolly
- Complete approximately 10-16 delivery stops per route
- Move products from the truck to designated receiving areas
- Complete delivery paperwork and customer documentation accurately
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
- Maintain excellent customer service while interacting with customers at delivery locations
- Follow all company safety policies and DOT regulations
- Report vehicle, equipment, or delivery issues promptly
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Previous box truck, straight truck, route delivery, or food service delivery experience preferred
- Experience operating a 26′ reefer box truck is a plus
- CDL A or CDL B license preferred but not required
- Strong customer service and delivery skills
- Ability to safely navigate local delivery routes and manage multiple stops throughout the day
- Good driving record with a clear MVR required
- Comfortable completing delivery paperwork and using handheld scanning devices as technology is implemented
- Ability to work independently while maintaining safety and service standards
- Valid driver’s license required; CDL A or CDL B preferred
- Must have a safe driving record and meet company driving standards
- Ability to operate a 26′ automatic transmission refrigerated box truck
- Comfortable driving trucks equipped with forward-facing, driver-facing, and cargo area cameras

- Schedule: 4-day work week, Monday-Saturday rotation, 6:00 AM start
