Non-CDL Commercial Driver - Part Time

About This Role

This part-time role involves driving and delivering funeral products, serving as the company's representative to customers, and supporting service center operations. It suits a dependable, customer-focused driver who enjoys building relationships and staying active.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport Starmark funeral products to funeral homes throughout your territory
• Ensure accurate, on-time deliveries with professional service
• Verify orders before loading and upon delivery
• Collect signatures, payments, and maintain delivery documentation
• Serve as the primary face of Starmark during deliveries
• Create positive experiences through professionalism and communication
• Support customer needs and help resolve issues when they arise
• Develop long-term relationships built on trust and reliability
• Assist with loading and unloading trucks
• Secure shipments using proper equipment and procedures
• Help prepare next-day orders and specialized packaging
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
• Conduct vehicle inspections before and after routes
• Follow DOT regulations and company safety standards
• Maintain a clean driving record and commitment to safe driving

Requirements

• Compliant with Department of Transportation: Valid Driver
• Ability to obtain and maintain a DOT Medical Card
• Ability to travel occasionally to Starmark sites across the United States for vacation covering, start-up assistance and overall site delivery assistance
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and stay organized
• Comfortably using GPS routing tools and mobile technology with a reliable smart phone
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds with proper equipment
• Ability to operate lift gates and pallet jacks for loading and unloading freight with a 26' box truck
• Ability to sit, stand, stoop, kneel, crouch, lift and move constantly throughout the workday
• Ability to work in warehouse and delivery environments
