Rochester Regional Health is seeking a Physician Assistant to join our collaborative Hospital Medicine team at Rochester General Hospital. Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate, diagnose, and manage acute and chronic medical conditions in hospitalized patients
- Perform comprehensive assessments, develop treatment plans, and monitor patient progress
- Order and interpret diagnostic studies and laboratory testing
- Prescribe medications and coordinate patient care across multidisciplinary teams
- Communicate with patients, families, consulting services, and attending physicians
- Provide patient education and support throughout hospitalization
- Complete timely documentation and medical record management
Preferred
- Hospital Medicine, Internal Medicine, Emergency Medicine, Critical Care, or related clinical experience
- Highly motivated new graduates with strong clinical training are encouraged to apply

EDUCATION:
BS: Physician Assistant (Required)
LICENSES / CERTIFICATIONS:
PA-C - Certified Physician Assistant - National Committee on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA), RPA - Registered Physician Assistant - New York State Education Department (NYSED)
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
M - Medium Work - Exerting 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects; Requires frequent walking, standing or squatting.
