Nigerian Agip Exploration Limited (NAE), operator of the NNPC/NAE Production Sharing Contract (PSC), has announced the 2026/2027 Postgraduate Scholarship Award Scheme to support outstanding Nigerian graduates in advancing their studies in critical oil and gas-related disciplines.

The initiative forms part of NAE’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) efforts focused on manpower development and capacity building in Nigeria’s petroleum sector.
Successful applicants will receive full funding for a one-year Master’s degree programme, either locally in a recognized Nigerian university or overseas at a reputable international institution.

Eligibility Criteria
To Qualify, Applicants Must – Hold a minimum of Second Class Upper (2.1) Bachelor’s degree from a recognized Nigerian university.
– Have secured provisional admission into a one-year Master’s programme in an approved discipline for the 2026/2027 academic session.
– Be not more than 28 years old as of December 31, 2026.
– Have completed the mandatory National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) programme.
– Possess a valid international passport (for the overseas category) with at least one year validity from September 2026.
Note: Employees of NAE and its affiliates, their dependents, as well as previous beneficiaries of similar NAE or affiliate scholarships, are ineligible. Applicants may apply to both Local and Overseas categories but must avoid multiple applications in the same category to prevent disqualification.
Eligible Fields of Study
Applications Are Restricted To The Following Areas – Geosciences
– Engineering (Petroleum, Mechanical, Civil, Subsea, Electrical/Electronics, Marine, Chemical, Offshore, Environmental, Renewable, etc.)
– Petroleum Economics
– Law (Oil and Gas/Petroleum)
