Join our dynamic team as a Night Time Dishwasher, where you will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness, sanitation, and overall hygiene standards of our busy food service environment. Tuesday 6pm - 9pm
Thursday 6pm - 9pm
Friday 5pm - 11pm
Saturday 5pm - 11pm
Sunday 3pm - 10pm
Duties
- Operate commercial dishwashing equipment to thoroughly clean all dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen tools while adhering to food safety sanitizing procedures.
- Assist with basic food preparation tasks such as chopping, peeling, or organizing ingredients to support daytime kitchen staff.
- Maintain high standards of sanitation by regularly cleaning workstations, sinks, floors, and kitchen surfaces in accordance with health and safety regulations.
- Bypass used dishes and utensils to designated areas for cleaning or re-use; ensure proper bussing of tables and clearing of service stations.
- Handle manual lifting of heavy pots, trays, and supplies safely following proper ergonomic techniques to prevent injury.
- Support kitchen health and safety standards by following proper food handling procedures and maintaining a clean work environment.
- Assist with inventory management by organizing supplies and notifying supervisors of stock levels or equipment maintenance needs.
Skills
- Proven experience in food service environments with knowledge of kitchen operations and sanitation practices.
- Strong understanding of food safety management and sanitizing procedures to ensure compliance with health regulations.
- Ability to operate commercial dishwashing machines and other kitchen equipment safely and efficiently.
- Excellent manual handling skills with the ability to lift heavy items regularly without injury.
- Basic knife skills for food prep support are a plus; familiarity with food handling protocols is essential.
- Experience working in restaurants or banquet settings demonstrates adaptability in fast-paced environments.
- Knowledge of kitchen health and safety standards ensures a safe workspace for all team members.
