Duties
- Prepare food items efficiently and accurately according to established recipes and safety standards
- Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for processing customer orders and sales transactions
- Manage food service customer orders with professionalism, ensuring quick turnaround times and accuracy
- Maintain a clean workspace by sanitizing surfaces, organizing supplies, and adhering to sanitation protocols
- Handle cash register operations, process cash transactions, and manage cash handling responsibilities with precision
- Assist in operating kitchen equipment safely and effectively to support food preparation activities
- Support food safety management practices by following proper food handling procedures and maintaining compliance with health regulations
Skills
- Proven experience in food preparation, food service, or quick service & fast food restaurant environments
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar platforms
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy night shifts
- Excellent customer service abilities with a friendly, positive attitude
- Ability to perform basic math accurately for retail math, cash handling, and transaction processing
- Knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation practices within the food industry
- Experience operating kitchen equipment and supporting food safety management protocols
