Role Description
The Night Auditor is a full-time, on-site position located in Ngwe Saung, Pathein District. This role is responsible for balancing and reconciling daily hotel revenue and payments, verifying room charges, and preparing overnight reports for management. The Night Auditor supports front office operations during night hours, including handling guest check-ins and check-outs, managing reservations and inquiries, and responding to guest needs with professional customer service. The role includes processing cash and card transactions, securing the cash drawer, and ensuring accurate posting of charges in the property management system. The Night Auditor also monitors the lobby and common areas for safety, follows established hotel policies and procedures, and collaborates with other departments to ensure a smooth transition to the daytime team.
Qualifications
- Experience with front desk and receptionist duties, including check-in/check-out procedures and guest assistance.
- Knowledge of reservations processes, room allocation, and use of hotel property management systems.
- Strong communication and customer service skills to interact effectively with guests and team members.
- Proficiency in cash handling, payment processing, and basic night audit or accounting procedures.
- Previous experience in hotels, resorts, or hospitality environments, preferably in a night or audit role.
- Ability to work independently during night shifts, prioritize tasks, and maintain attention to detail.
- Basic proficiency with computers and office software; familiarity with hotel systems is an advantage.
- Good English language skills; additional languages commonly spoken by guests are beneficial.
- High level of integrity, reliability, and commitment to guest safety and confidentiality.
