Night Auditor

About This Role

This night auditor position involves executing guest services, maintaining a hospitable attitude, and ensuring compliance with brand standards. The role suits an individual who is proficient in property management systems and can handle administrative tasks efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Execute guest reservation, check-in, check-out, payment, and service procedures in compliance with brand quality assurance standards
• Maintain a friendly and hospitable attitude with guests and team members and be present at the desk during all hours
• Acquire and maintain knowledge of local attractions and amenities in order to provide service to guests needing such information
• Ensure collections, including credit card and direct bill, are executed in accordance with company policies
• Maintain proper control over keys, safe deposits, and all company and guest property
• Ensure rates are optimized by monitoring competitor occupancy and rates
• Ensure that all required documentation is completed in a timely manner
• Properly quote daily rates and issues credits
• Perform other duties as assigned to support guest satisfaction

Requirements

• Proficient in administration of applicable property management systems
• Ability to respond quickly and appropriately to emergency situations
• Experience in accurate cash handling and credit cards
• Experience in maintaining security of confidential information
• Ability to pass certification tests required to meet brand standards
• Experience working with a computer, especially data entry
• Works well with others
• Always maintain a customer focus and put the guests needs first
• Approachable and encourages effective communication with guests and fellow team members
