Pay: Starting at $17, based on experience
Schedule: Overnight shift, typically 11:00 p.m.–7:00 a.m. Weekend and holiday availability is required.

Overview

Lucid Hotel Group is seeking a dependable, detail-oriented, and guest-focused Night Auditor to join the opening team of the new TownePlace Suites by Marriott in Chillicothe, Ohio.

The Night Auditor is responsible for providing excellent overnight guest service while completing the hotel’s daily financial and operational audit. The ideal candidate is trustworthy, organized, comfortable working independently, and able to remain calm when responding to guest needs or unexpected situations.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner
• Complete overnight guest check-ins and early-morning checkouts
• Manage reservations, room assignments, payments, and special requests
• Perform the nightly audit and complete the hotel’s end-of-day process
• Review and reconcile guest accounts, room charges, payments, deposits, and credit-card transactions
• Identify and correct posting or billing discrepancies
• Prepare and distribute required daily financial and operational reports
• Verify room rates, tax exemptions, occupancy totals, and account balances
• Balance the front-desk cash drawer and follow all cash-handling procedures
• Answer telephone calls and respond to overnight guest requests
• Resolve guest concerns promptly and contact management when additional assistance is needed
• Provide information about hotel services, amenities, and the Chillicothe area
• Protect confidential guest, employee, and hotel information
• Enroll eligible guests in Marriott Bonvoy and recognize existing members
• Follow Marriott brand standards and Lucid Hotel Group policies
• Monitor hotel activity and follow established safety and security procedures
• Communicate overnight incidents, maintenance concerns, and guest requests to the appropriate department
• Maintain a clean and organized front desk and lobby
• Assist with preparing the breakfast area or completing other morning duties as assigned
