About This Role
Developing and maintaining efficient, reusable, and scalable front-end code is the core of this role, collaborating with designers and back-end developers to implement user-friendly interfaces. This position suits a developer passionate about learning and staying updated with the latest trends in frontend development.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with designers and back-end developers to implement user-friendly interfaces based on provided Figma designs and specifications
- Develop and maintain efficient, reusable, and scalable front-end code using modern web technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript frameworks
- Optimize web applications for maximum speed and scalability
- Ensure cross-browser compatibility and responsiveness of applications
- Stay updated on emerging front-end technologies and best practices to continuously improve development processes
Requirements
- Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Experience with at least one modern JavaScript framework/library (e.g., HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, React/Next Js, Flutter)
- Strong understanding of responsive design principles and mobile-first development
- Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git)
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- A passion for learning and staying up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in frontend development
- Frontend experience: 2 years (Required)
- Reliably commute or willing to relocate to Ibadan with an employer-provided relocation package (Required)
Nice to have:
- Experience with backend development technologies (e.g., HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, React/Next Js, Flutter)
- Knowledge of UI/UX design principles
- Experience with testing frameworks (e.g., Jest, Jasmine, Mocha)
