About This Role
This engineering role leads the development of high-performance web applications, focusing on designing, building, and optimizing advanced web applications using Next.js. The developer will work closely with cross-functional teams, mentor junior developers, and play a key role in architectural decisions.
Responsibilities
- Lead the development of scalable and maintainable web applications using Next.js and React.js
- Design and implement server-side rendering (SSR) and static site generation (SSG) solutions for optimal performance and SEO
- Collaborate with UI/UX designers and back-end developers to ensure seamless integration of front-end and back-end functionalities
- Develop and maintain reusable components and front-end libraries
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code, following best practices for coding standards, testing, and deployment
- Conduct code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and mentor junior developers
- Identify performance bottlenecks and optimize for scalability, speed, and user experience
- Work in an Agile/Scrum environment, contributing to sprint planning, task estimation, and project tracking
- Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices, and proactively integrate them into the development process
- Participate in and lead architectural discussions and decisions for front-end projects
Requirements
- Bachelor
- 3+ years of professional experience in front-end development, with a focus on React.js and at least 3+ years of experience in Next.js
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, and CSS
- Expertise in server-side rendering (SSR) and static site generation (SSG) with Next.js
- Experience with state management libraries such as Redux, Context API, or Recoil
- Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and GraphQL integration
- Proven experience optimizing front-end performance and troubleshooting complex issues
- Solid understanding of version control systems, particularly Git, and code collaboration workflows
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with experience mentoring junior developers and conducting code reviews
- Familiarity with unit testing and end-to-end testing frameworks (e.g., Jest, Cypress)
- Experience working with Agile methodologies and collaborating with cross-functional teams
