Job Description
As a newly qualified accountant moving into an industry role, you will have the opportunity to develop your skills and contribute to the continued success of the organisation.
Responsibilities
- Financial Reporting: Assisting in the preparation of financial statements, ensuring accuracy, and compliance with relevant accounting standards.
- Audit Support: Collaborating with audit teams and providing necessary documentation for internal and external audits.
- Budgeting and Forecasting: Participating in the budgeting and forecasting processes, helping to analyse variances and make recommendations.
- Financial Analysis: Conducting financial analysis, identifying trends, and providing insights to support decision-making.
- General Accounting: Performing various accounting tasks, including reconciliations, journal entries, and month-end close activities.
- Compliance: Ensuring compliance with tax regulations and other statutory requirements.
Qualifications
- Recently qualified accountant with a recognized accounting qualification (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CPA, or equivalent).
Skills and Abilities
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software
