About the role
The New Product Development (NPD) Engineer role supports tooling development and new product projects within a manufacturing operation in Bawal. The position coordinates project schedules, tool trials, sample submissions, customer approvals, and project documentation to help maintain progress against key milestones.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and monitor project schedules and milestones
- Coordinate tooling development activities with toolmakers
- Monitor tool manufacturing, T0, T1, and T2 trials, and the associated approval processes
- Coordinate sample submissions and customer approvals
- Support Advanced Product Quality Planning and Production Part Approval Process activities
- Prepare and maintain project and product development documentation
Requirements
- 2-3 years of relevant experience
- Knowledge of project schedule and milestone monitoring
- Knowledge of tooling development, tool manufacturing, trials, and approval processes
- Knowledge of Advanced Product Quality Planning and Production Part Approval Process requirements
- Ability to coordinate sample submissions, customer approvals, and project documentation
- Experience in the automotive or manufacturing industry is preferred
