The Opportunity
You will manage an active caseload of plaintiff personal injury matters and take responsibility for cases throughout the litigation process.
Your work may include:
- Managing personal injury matters from litigation through resolution
- Developing liability, damages and overall case strategy
- Drafting and responding to written discovery
- Taking and defending depositions
- Drafting and arguing motions
- Working with medical professionals and expert witnesses
- Preparing matters for mediation and settlement negotiations
- Evaluating settlement opportunities and case value
- Preparing cases for trial
- Maintaining direct communication with clients
- Working collaboratively with attorneys and litigation support professionals
The caseload may include automobile accidents, premises liability, serious injury, wrongful death and other negligence-related claims.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Approximately 5+ years of plaintiff personal injury experience
- Active admission to the California Bar
Compensation & Working Arrangement
Base salary: Up to $200,000
Additional compensation: Performance-based bonus/commission opportunity, generally ranging from approximately 1%–5% depending on experience and overall compensation structure.
Location: Los Angeles, California
Working arrangement: Primarily onsite, five days per week. Some flexibility may be considered for an exceptional, experienced candidate.
