Role Overview This position is for recent nursing graduates and involves providing direct patient care, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation within established nursing standards. The role requires obtaining licensure within 90 days of graduation to remain employed in Missouri.
Responsibilities
- Educate patients and families on illness management, home care, and medication use.
- Utilize critical thinking to assess physical, psychosocial, and emotional patient needs.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans collaboratively with the healthcare team, promoting patient-centered care.
- Evaluate patient responses and adjust care plans accordingly.
- Participate in activities to ensure patient safety, quality, and compliance; engage in professional development.
- Work in a safety-sensitive environment with alertness and safety as essential functions.
Qualifications
- Minimum: Nursing Diploma or Associate’s degree in Nursing.
- Preferred: Relevant experience or additional qualifications related to nursing specialties.
