About the role
This role involves providing specialized inpatient nursing care on a 30-bed Neuroscience Unit, focusing on patients with neurological conditions such as stroke, epilepsy, and Parkinson’s disease. Responsibilities include patient assessment, medication administration, IV therapy, wound care, and care planning, utilizing Epic EHR system.
Qualifications:
- RN: Nursing degree (BSN preferred), current Missouri RN license or permit, BLS certification.
- LPN: High school diploma or GED, graduation from an accredited practical nursing program, current LPN license, BLS and IV certification.
Key duties: Deliver hands-on neurological patient care, collaborate with a supportive team, and utilize clinical skills to support patient recovery and well-being.
Preferred skills: Experience in neuro or critical care settings, medication management, and patient assessment skills.
