About the role
Seeking a Senior Network Test Engineer to design, test, and certify enterprise network hardware, software, and solutions in a lab environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Test and certify Cisco/Arista routers and switches across LAN/WAN, Data Center, Campus, Branch, and WAN/MAN environments.
- Perform code/patch/SMU certification, bug validation, performance testing, and interoperability testing.
- Develop test automation using Python, Ansible, APIs, Git, and Robot Framework .
- Troubleshoot using Wireshark, tcpdump, IXIA/Spirent , and protocol-level analysis.
- Work with BGP, OSPF, IGMP/PIM, Layer 2/3, QoS , and switching technologies.
- Support cloud-native networking with Linux, Kubernetes, CNI, and eBPF/Cilium .
- Evaluate vulnerabilities/CVEs and support security validation and remediation.
- Create test strategies, engineering standards, certification documents, and recommendations.
- Collaborate with vendors and global engineering teams.
Must-Have Skills
- 8+ years of network engineering/testing experience.
- CCNP-level or higher expertise.
- Strong Cisco Catalyst/Nexus and Arista experience.
- Strong BGP, OSPF, multicast, switching, and routing knowledge.
- Python + Ansible automation experience.
- Linux and network troubleshooting expertise.
- Experience with network hardware/code certification in lab environments.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills.
