Network Engineer

Job Description:

• Ensure network connectivity and security across CLIENT’s offices, data centers, and stores.
• Troubleshoot escalated incidents, perform root cause analysis, and resolve complex network issues.
• Manage LAN, WLAN, WAN devices, and configurations, including routers, switches, and firewalls.
• Support patching, configuration changes, upgrades, and capacity planning.
• Maintain accurate network documentation, diagrams, and SOPs.
• Coordinate with third-party vendors for hardware/software support and escalations.
• Conduct network performance analysis and optimization activities.
• Support disaster recovery exercises and operational improvement initiatives.

Qualifications:

• Cebu-based (To be assigned in TGT Cebu Lahug)
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Network Engineering, or a related field.
• 2–4 years of experience in network engineering, network operations, or infrastructure support.
• Hands-on experience managing and troubleshooting LAN, WLAN, and WAN environments.
• Experience working with routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless networking technologies.
• Strong understanding of networking concepts, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, VPNs, routing, switching, and network security.
• Experience with network monitoring and performance analysis tools.
• Experience performing network device configuration, patching, upgrades, and configuration changes.
• Knowledge of network security principles, firewall technologies, and access control.
• Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills.
• Ability to create and maintain network diagrams, technical documentation, and SOPs.
