Title: Network Aruba wireless engineer
Location: Chennai
Exp: 5+ Years Key Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, configure, and support Aruba wireless network solutions.
- Manage Aruba Access Points (Client), Mobility Controllers, Aruba Central, and WLAN infrastructure.
- Configure and troubleshoot SSIDs, VLANs, RF optimization, roaming, authentication, and wireless security.
- Implement and administer Aruba ClearPass for Network Access Control (NAC), authentication, and policy management.
- Monitor wireless network performance and optimize coverage, capacity, and reliability.
- Troubleshoot complex LAN/WLAN connectivity issues and perform root cause analysis.
- Perform firmware upgrades, patch management, and preventive maintenance.
- Collaborate with network, security, and infrastructure teams on enterprise network projects.
- Prepare network documentation, topology diagrams, and operational procedures.
- Provide L2/L3 support and ensure high availability of wireless infrastructure.
Required Skills
- 5+ years of experience in enterprise wireless networking.
- Strong hands-on expertise with Aruba Wireless, Aruba Mobility Controllers, Aruba Central, and Aruba ClearPass.
- Good knowledge of WLAN technologies, TCP/IP, VLANs, DHCP, DNS, VPN, and network security.
- Experience with wireless site surveys, RF planning, and performance optimization.
- Familiarity with routing and switching concepts in enterprise networks.
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Aruba Certified Mobility Associate (ACMA) or Aruba Certified Mobility Professional (ACMP) certification.
- Experience with HPE Aruba networking solutions.
- CCNA/CCNP certification is an added advantage.
