Network Administrator

About This Role

This role involves managing the day-to-day network operations for clients and contributing to the strategic design of systems and networks. It suits a professional who can handle network infrastructure, security solutions, and provide escalation support.

Responsibilities

• Manage LAN/WAN/Wireless network devices, including design, installation, upgrade, configuration, and troubleshooting
• Maintain infrastructure pertaining to upgrades, break fix, and enhancements
• Manage security solutions, including firewall, URL filtering, and intrusion detection systems
• Establish and maintain standard system/OS upgrades for network infrastructure
• Interpret and apply company policies and procedures
• Participate in on-call rotation, including off-hours and weekends
• Act as an escalation point for network issues from tier 1 and 2 support
• Assist in the design of internal Parasol Alliance network systems and tools for optimal security and performance management

Requirements

• Experience with configuration of switches, routers, firewalls and wireless in a mixed hardware workspace
• Network+

Nice to have:

• Cisco CCNA certification, or recognized certification experience
