About the role
- Proven experience configuring and managing OSPF, BGP, EIGRP, and other routing protocols in complex networks.
- Strong knowledge of Layer 3 switching, VLANs, and inter-VLAN routing.
- Experience with firewall management, VPN gateways, IPS/IDS systems, and ACLs.
- Familiarity with high-availability solutions such as HSRP, VRRP, and GLBP.
- Expertise in performance monitoring tools (SolarWinds, PRTG, Nagios) and traffic analysis.
- In-depth understanding of QoS policies for voice, video, and mission-critical applications.
- Experience with disaster recovery, backup solutions, and network synchronization.
- Familiarity with ITIL, PCI-DSS, ISO 27001, and security audit processes.
- Ability to work independently and lead complex troubleshooting efforts.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills.
