Schedule Details: Neonatal Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) position available at 0.6 FTE for PM shifts. The primary location is Waukesha Memorial Hospital. We are seeking an RCP with the necessary skills or a willingness to learn the respiratory support skills required to provide care for adult, pediatric, and neonatal patient populations. There are also opportunities to learn and perform Pulmonary Function testing (PFT) and intubation.
What You Will Do:
Provides care to patients of all ages requiring respiratory care services by administering treatments and procedures both invasive and noninvasive. Educates patients, family members and staff as needed. Assesses patient need for care and makes recommendations to providers as appropriate.
Qualifications:
- Minimum Education (required): Associates Degree in Respiratory Care
- Licensure (required): State of Wisconsin Respiratory Care License
- Experience: more than 1 year NICU or Critical Care experience preferred
- BLS required, ACLS within 6 months of hire, NRP within 6 months of hire , PALS (preferred)
