National Chain Analyst

Job Description Because this position requires regular on-site work at our Creative Studios in Westlake, Ohio, we will focus on candidates who currently reside in Northeast Ohio.

Remote work and relocation assistance are not available for this role.

The National Chain Analyst serves as a central point of contact for internal and external customers of our Plus Mark Christmas division.

In this role you will collaborate with our sales & marketing teams and shares responsibility for chain revenue and sales margin results. You will be responsible for recognizing purchasing trends, sales opportunities and assist with the chain proposals to increase revenue and margin. The position is responsible for timely and accurate quote submission to customers through their online portals as well as updating them throughout the season as final selections and changes are needed.

This position is responsible for POS and year over year sales histories and analysis to aid in selling the customer on the program proposal.

This position is responsible for all facets of the order processing cycle to ensure customer satisfaction. Follows up on customer performance to forecast, shipment accuracy, and ship date compliance.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities  Sales & POS analysis as well as other business analyses required to secure current and future customer commitments.

 Completion & review of customer quoting process including item set up for the customers private label programs internally as well as on customer portals. This includes a thorough understanding of customer requirements and ensuring the delivered product meets/exceeds customer expectations

 Proof customer specs to ensure accuracy prior to releasing for production

 Assist the Sales Managers in building the customer confidence. This includes providing timely and accurate information, to the customer on current and future programs, assisting in the customer meetings, conference calls and communication back and forth with the customer.

 Collaborate with Sales and Marketing teams to develop the right marketing plan, program proposals and sales histories to meet the financial goals for revenue and sale margin.

 Manage the order processing cycle and fulfillment of the customer orders through collaboration with our production and distribution facilities.

 Make independent decisions related to production and distribution of their customers product and assist in resolving issues.

 Special projects to analyze and document current processes, research alternatives, investigate possible improvements and implement the best complete process improvement to improve the business.

Experience Required Required Length & Type of Experience:

 1+ years of experience.

 Experience with sales/POS Analysis a plus.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities  Strong Office 365 skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

 Oracle Order Management knowledge a plus – training provided

 Excellent customer service skills, communication skills, follow up and attention to details is extremely important.

 Ability to work well independently as well as in a team environment to meet customer due dates

Education Required Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Supply Chain Management, Operations or other business-related field
