Nanny

Job Summary
Family is looking for a Summer Nanny working June 15 - August. In this role, you will care for a 4 year old boy and an 8 year old girl. The family is looking for someone with energy that can play with the children and do activities. They must have reliable transportation and a clean driving record. Candidate will take children to the park daily and weekly outings. Their son is very active and he needs physical activity daily. The sister is very helpful with her brother. Candidate will prep meals for children and clean up after meals and play. The parents will be in and out of the house daily.

Responsibilities

• Provide attentive childcare tailored to each child's age and needs.
• Prepare nutritious meals and snacks suitable for children’s dietary requirements.
• Engage children in educational activities, playtime, and age-appropriate learning experiences.
• Ensure safety protocols are followed at all times and administer basic first aid when necessary.
• Maintain a clean and organized environment by performing light cleaning and tidying up after children.

Requirements

• Proven experience in nannying or childcare roles with a strong understanding of child development stages.
• Knowledge of first aid procedures and ability to respond calmly in emergencies.
• Experience working with children in daycare or preschool settings is highly desirable.
• Ability to prepare healthy meals and snacks for children with attention to dietary restrictions.
• Comfortable performing light cleaning duties related to childcare areas.
• Compassionate caregiver with patience, flexibility, and excellent communication skills.
• Prior experience working with children with disabilities or special needs is a plus.
