About This Role
Nurturing and attentive care for children of various ages, from infants to preschoolers, is the core of this Nanny position. Responsibilities
- Provide attentive childcare for 2 children of different ages, including infants, toddlers, and preschoolers, ensuring their safety and happiness at all times
- Prepare nutritious meals and snacks tailored to each child's dietary needs and preferences
- Engage children in educational activities, playtime, and developmental exercises to promote learning and social skills
- Maintain a clean and organized environment by performing light housekeeping tasks related to children's belongings and play areas
- Administer basic first aid when necessary and respond promptly to any emergencies or health concerns
- Support children with daily routines such as diapering, dressing, bathing, and nap times
- Collaborate with parents or guardians to ensure consistent care practices and communicate daily updates on the child's progress
- Assist with the upkeep of a small hobby farm
Requirements
- Proven experience working with children in roles such as nannying, babysitting, daycare assistant, or caregiving
- Knowledge of infant care, toddler care, preschool activities, and child development principles
- Enjoys working with animals
- Ability to handle caregiving responsibilities with patience, enthusiasm, and professionalism
- Comfortable performing light cleaning tasks related to childcare environments
- Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with families and team members
Nice to have:
- Experience working with children with disabilities or special needs
