Named Account Executive, Education

About This Role

This role focuses on driving business and engaging with existing customers in the higher education sector, specifically with strategic institutions generating over $200 million in annual revenue. The Named Account Executive builds trusted relationships with key team members and C-suite decision-makers, helping customers realize value from their Salesforce investments.

Responsibilities

• Develop opportunities through warm leads and whitespace prospecting
• Maintain a persistent focus on pipe generation strategies and execution to seed, land, and expand new and existing accounts
• Develop key customer stakeholder relationships and drive customer satisfaction at assigned accounts
• Develop and drive the overall long-term strategy for the account, aligned to customer business objectives
• Coordinate internal Salesforce resources to meet customer business needs
• Perform account planning at assigned accounts, coordinating with Prime and Cloud sales resources to ensure strategic alignment
• Share Salesforce value proposition for existing and/or new customers
• Drive growth within an existing assigned account
• Demonstrate focus on outcome over process

Requirements

• 8 years of full cycle sales experience
• At least 2 years of Enterprise Sales experience
• Experience working in SLED
• Demonstrated success and enthusiasm in hunting for new business
• Experience working with a large extended team
• Experience working in high-growth, performance-focused environments
