Responsibilities
- Perform a wide range of nail services including manicures, gel manicures, acrylic and nail extension applications, and pedicures in accordance with salon standards
- Apply advanced techniques such as nail extensions and acrylic application to create customized looks for each client
- Utilize color theory knowledge to recommend suitable shades and designs that match client preferences
- Maintain strict salon safety protocols by adhering to sanitation, disinfection procedures, and hygiene standards to ensure a safe environment for clients and staff
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs, provide expert advice on nail care, and upsell retail products when appropriate
- Keep workstations clean, organized, and fully stocked with necessary supplies while following all sanitation guidelines
- Stay updated on the latest trends in nail art, gel manicures, and esthetic treatments like dermabrasion or laser therapy to offer innovative services
Requirements
- Proven experience working as a Nail Technician or in the beauty industry with a strong portfolio of nail art and extension work
- Certification in cosmetology or esthetician licensing as required by local regulations
- Knowledge of nail care techniques including acrylic application, gel manicures, and nail extensions
- Familiarity with salon safety protocols, disinfection procedures, and sanitation practices
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and build rapport with clients
- Ability to perform detailed work efficiently while maintaining high standards of hygiene and safety
