This role is for a Nail Technician to join a vibrant beauty team, providing expert manicure and pedicure services, including gel manicures, acrylic and nail extension applications, and intricate nail art. Responsibilities
- Perform a variety of nail services such as manicures, pedicures, gel polish applications, acrylic nails, and nail extensions with precision and creativity
- Apply color theory principles to recommend suitable shades and designs that complement clients’ styles and preferences
- Maintain strict salon safety protocols by adhering to sanitation, disinfection procedures, and hygiene standards to ensure client safety
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs, provide personalized recommendations, and build lasting relationships
- Upsell retail products like nail care items, polishes, or tools to enhance client satisfaction and salon revenue
- Stay updated on the latest trends in nail art, techniques like dermabrasion or esthetic laser treatments, and industry best practices
- Support overall salon operations by managing appointments efficiently and maintaining a clean, organized workspace
Requirements
- Valid cosmetology or nail technician license as required by local regulations
- Proven experience working in the beauty industry with a focus on nails and skincare treatments
- Strong knowledge of nail care techniques including acrylic application, gel manicures, nail extensions, and sanitation procedures
- Ability to communicate clearly with clients to ensure their expectations are met or exceeded
- Familiarity with color theory, nail art design, and current trends in nail fashion
