This technical role involves delivering expert nail care services, including structured gel manicures and nail extensions, while providing exceptional customer service. The Nail Technician will bring confidence and creativity to clients, using their passion for beauty and attention to detail to help clients look and feel their best.
Responsibilities
- Perform a variety of nail services such as hand painted nail art, structured gel manicures, and nail extensions with precision and care
- Apply color theory principles to recommend suitable shades and designs that complement each client’s style
- Maintain strict salon safety protocols by adhering to sanitation and disinfection procedures for tools and workstations
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs, provide recommendations, and ensure a satisfying experience
- Upsell retail products like nail care items or skincare products to enhance client satisfaction and boost sales
- Keep up-to-date with the latest trends in nail art, techniques, and industry standards through continuous learning
- Assist in maintaining a clean, organized work environment that complies with all health regulations
Requirements
- Proven experience working as a Nail Technician or in the beauty industry with a strong portfolio of nail work
- Knowledge of salon safety protocols, sanitation practices, and disinfection procedures
- Skilled in various nail techniques such as structured gel manicures, nail extensions, and nail art
- Strong communication skills to connect with clients and understand their preferences
- Familiarity with color theory, nail care best practices
- Ability to upsell retail products confidently while maintaining excellent customer service standards
- Valid cosmetology license or relevant certification as required by local regulations
