Responsibilities
- Perform a variety of nail services including manicures, gel manicures, acrylic and nail extension applications, and pedicures with precision and care
- Apply advanced techniques such as nail art based on color theory principles to create stunning designs tailored to client preferences
- Maintain strict salon safety protocols by adhering to sanitation and disinfection procedures for tools, equipment, and workstations
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs, recommend suitable treatments, and provide aftercare advice
- Upsell retail products related to nail care, skincare, and body treatments to enhance client satisfaction and salon revenue
- Stay current with industry trends in nail design, techniques like dermabrasion or eyelash extensions, and new product offerings
- Ensure a clean, organized workspace that complies with all health regulations and safety standards
Requirements
- Strong knowledge of nail care techniques including acrylic application, gel manicures, nail extensions, and sanitation procedures
- Expertise in color theory for creating eye-catching nail art designs that match client styles
- Excellent communication skills to build rapport with diverse clients and understand their beauty goals
- Experience working in the beauty industry with a focus on customer service excellence
- Ability to perform additional treatments such as pedicures, body waxing, hair styling, hair extensions, eyelash extensions, or esthetic laser treatments is a plus
- Familiarity with retail sales strategies and upselling techniques to promote products confidently
- Knowledge of salon safety protocols including disinfection procedures and proper handling of tools and chemicals
