About This Role
This Music Teacher role involves planning and delivering engaging music lessons, fostering students' creativity, and organizing school performances. The position suits an educator passionate about inspiring students through music and performance, working in an internationally recognized educational setting.
Responsibilities
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging Music lessons aligned with the IB and/or Cambridge curriculum
- Foster students' musical skills, creativity, confidence, and appreciation for music through vocal, instrumental, and performance-based learning
- Organize and lead school performances, concerts, assemblies, and other music-related events
- Integrate technology and innovative teaching strategies to enhance student learning
- Assess, monitor, and report students' academic progress and personal development
- Create a positive, inclusive, and student-centered learning environment
- Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and school leadership to support students' holistic development
- Participate in curriculum development, school activities, professional development programs, and other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Music Education, Music Performance, or a related field
- Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience
- Demonstrated proficiency in vocal and instrumental music instruction
- Excellent classroom management, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Passionate about inspiring students through music and performance
- Willing to participate actively in school performances and extracurricular activities
- Possesses a collaborative mindset, professionalism, and a commitment to continuous learning
Nice to have:
