Physical Requirements
Stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Talk/hear to communicate, detect, converse with, discern, convey, express oneself, exchange information.
Function in the Job
Medium work - Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or to 20 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
What We’re Looking For:
We’re seeking motivated individuals with experience in steel manufacturing or general warehouse work. Overhead crane experience is a big plus!
- HIRING MULTIPLE POSITIONS FOR 2nd and 3rd SHIFTS: Crane Operators, Packers, Ship & Receiving
- Experience with Overhead Crane, IS A PLUS!!!
- Strong attention to safety and detail
- Ability to work in hot/cold environments
- Willingness to work overtime and weekends as needed
- Ability to pass a drug screening
- Attendance is extremely important
- To obtain specific material from shop orders
- To locate and present material for customer inspections
- To restock and arrange material
- To inform supervisor of safety hazards in the storage area
- To place coils on entry coil turnstile in the proper direction
- To monitor equipment for repair/maintenance
Physical Requirements:
Frequent standing, walking, bending, stooping, and reaching
Qualifications:
- Have strong work ethics oriented to working as a team.
- Positive attitude.
- Being punctual and good attendance.
- Familiar with performing with minimal supervision.
- Familiar with following written (shop orders and procedures) and verbal instructions
- Familiar with crane.
- Familiar with keeping paperwork correct and organized.
Shifts
- 2nd Shift Hours: 1p-9p + Must Work Scheduled Overtime
- 3rd Shift Hours: 9p-5a + Must Work Scheduled Overtime
