About the role
Role: MRI Technologist responsible for performing imaging procedures, reviewing patient history, educating patients, preparing contrast media, and ensuring safety and quality standards.
Responsibilities
- Review patient information, schedule exams, and educate patients about procedures.
- Prepare and administer contrast media within scope of practice, monitor patient condition, and respond to changes.
- Prepare equipment, select imaging parameters, troubleshoot malfunctions, and perform quality control.
- Position patients, perform imaging procedures, analyze images, resolve quality issues, and report results.
Qualifications & Skills
- Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program.
- Registered or registry eligible in MRI with ARRT, with completion within 12 months.
- State licensure if required, and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Minimum of 1 year MRI experience.
