The MRI Technologist performs magnetic resonance imaging procedures to assist in diagnosis and treatment within a fast-paced environment, demonstrating independent judgment, ingenuity, and initiative .
They are responsible for ensuring patient safety, effective communication, and high-quality clinical care while adhering to department and hospital policies.
Key duties include executing MRI scans, maintaining safety protocols, and working collaboratively with patients, families, and staff.
Qualifications include preferably one year of MRI or Radiology experience, completion of an accredited MRI program, and certification or registry eligibility .
Candidates should have current BLS certification and aim to achieve ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT registration within one year.
Ideal candidates possess strong clinical skills, effective communication, and the ability to work well under pressure .
