About the role
We are seeking a full-time Registered MRI Technologist responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures with independence and precision.
Key Duties Include
- Preparing and positioning patients for MRI exams, ensuring safety and comfort.
- Acquiring high-quality images, reviewing results, and verifying patient identity and clinical history.
- Administering contrast media safely, following protocols to prevent complications.
- Maintaining equipment, troubleshooting malfunctions, and ensuring a clean, safe MRI environment.
- Communicating effectively with patients, staff, and physicians using patient-centered techniques.
- Participating in quality control, documentation, and departmental support activities.
- Assisting with emergencies and providing patient education to reduce anxiety.
- Adhering to hospital policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications Include
- Completion of an accredited MRI program or ARRT-MR certification.
- Current MRI technologist certification and BLS certification.
- Minimum of 1 year clinical experience, preferably in MRI.
- Strong communication, attention to detail, and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Skills Required
- Proficiency in MRI procedures, anatomy, pathology, and safety protocols.
- Excellent customer service and teamwork skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and handle stressful situations effectively.
