About the role
We are seeking a full-time Registered MRI Technologist to perform high-quality imaging procedures with independence and precision.
Responsibilities include
- Obtaining complete clinical histories and ensuring patient safety and comfort
- Performing diagnostic MRI exams, preparing equipment, and positioning patients accurately
- Administering contrast agents safely and verifying patient identity
- Responding to emergencies and ensuring image quality
- Maintaining equipment, adhering to infection control, and documenting procedures
- Explaining procedures to patients and providing excellent customer service
- Participating in quality control, training, and support duties to ensure departmental efficiency
Qualifications Include
- Completion of an accredited MRI program or ARRT-R certification
- Current MRI technologist certification and BLS certification
- Minimum of 1 year clinical experience, preferably in MRI
- Strong communication, technical, anatomical, and safety skills
