This role involves performing diagnostic MRI procedures with a focus on delivering quality patient care.
- Provide care and support to patients during MRI exams, ensuring they understand procedures and safety protocols.
- Operate GE/Siemens 1.5/3.0 T MRI equipment competently and adhere to safety standards to protect patient wellbeing.
- Maintain confidentiality, professionalism, and excellent communication, while utilizing appropriate equipment like Meditech, Sun Workstation, and pulse oximeters.
- Meet performance standards in customer service, teamwork, and resource management, contributing to departmental efficiency.
- Perform additional duties as needed for smooth department operation.
Qualifications include ARRT-approved radiology training or MRI degree, 2+ years experience preferred, and valid ARRT MRI licensure. BLS certification is required. Must demonstrate teamwork and a willingness to collaborate effectively.
