About the role
Ukiah Waste Solutions, a Waste Connections company, is looking to hire a General Laborer at our Material Recovery Facility in Ukiah, CA!
The starting pay will be $21.00 per hour. Pay range for this job category is $20-$21/hr. We also offer great family benefits, a 401k match, paid vacation, etc.
The schedule will be Monday - Friday 4am to 3pm, working 8 to 10 hour shifts. Overtime opportunity available.

Responsibilities Include:
- Sorting out garbage from the recycling material on the conveyor belt
- Bailing cardboard
- Maintaining the cleanliness of the recycling area
- Assuming custodial duties as needed, such as sweeping, and sanitizing
- Other manual labor as needed
- Operate a Forklift - training provided
Requirements:
- Must be able to will work in a fast-paced environment
- Must be able to stand continually through entire 8 hour shift
- Must be able to work outdoors
- Must be able to lift at least 50lbs.
