Entre sus funciones destacan las siguientes:
- Preclasificación de paquetería según destino y control de calidad
- Clasificación de paquetería según ruta y destino, con su respectivo retractilado
- Escaneo de los envíos
- Colocación de los pedidos en los medios de transporte
