About This Role
This Motion Designer role at Odoo Indonesia focuses on producing high-quality videos, graphics, motion, animation, and other visual content that aligns with the company's brand. The role involves the full creative process from ideation to delivery, enhancing product marketing across various channels, and collaborating with different departments on creative projects like photo retouching and graphic design.
Responsibilities
- Lead the post-production process for product-focused video content, including video editing, motion graphics, visual effects, color correction, sound editing, and final delivery across different formats and platforms
- Create engaging motion graphics and visual elements that enhance storytelling, product demonstrations, and marketing communication while maintaining consistency with Odoo's brand identity
- Manage and contribute to the overall video production cycle, from pre-production and studio setup to filming and post-production, with a stronger focus on editing and motion design
- Work closely with the marketing team and other departments to plan and execute video projects, ensuring the creative direction, visual execution, and final output align with Odoo's branding and messaging
- Develop a deep understanding of Odoo's products to translate complex product features and benefits into clear, engaging, and visually compelling video content
- Provide creative input and proactively suggest improvements to storytelling, editing, motion design, pacing, and overall video quality
- Support onsite customer testimonial filming, studio shoots, and live streaming for webinars and other events, contributing to the production process as needed
- Maintain an organized archive of all video footage for future edits and reuse
- Stay updated on the latest trends in video production and editing to bring fresh ideas and techniques into your work
- Perform in-house photo retouching for presentations, events, and marketing materials
Requirements
- Bachelor degree or higher
- Fluent in English
- Proficiency in using Motion Graphic and Animation software (Adobe After Effects and Blender 3D)
- Experienced in video editing software (DaVinci Resolve, Adobe Premier Pro)
- Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (especially in Adobe Illustrator) and Figma
- Proficiency in camera operation, lighting, and audio recording equipment
- A strong portfolio showcasing your video editing and motion graphic skills
- Ability to work on video projects with diverse languages and culture across APAC region
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to synthesize creative ideas and feedback
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines within a team environment
