Mortgage Product Strategist

About This Role

This role focuses on foreclosure and bankruptcy processes within Valon's SaaS servicing platform. You will shape the platform's development, then own the rollout with enterprise clients, driving engagements from sales to implementation and post-launch success. This is a hybrid role blending project management, problem-solving, and strategic collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Act as a mortgage servicing subject matter expert to help shape business requirements that ultimately become product features
• Engage with clients across the deployment cycle — from sales demos to enablement to product support
• Serve as a product expert; educate clients on how to use Valon’s system successfully
• Understand client needs and tailor solutions that drive measurable outcomes
• Collaborate with tech teams (Product, Engineering, Ops) to translate feedback into feature requests and platform improvements
• Travel as needed (approx. 25–50%) to support client implementations

Requirements

• 10+ years of mortgage servicing experience, with strong domain knowledge of most mortgage servicing industry concepts
• Direct experience managing the technical and operational implementation of a new servicing system
• Client-facing experience
