About This Role
Developing a short drama mobile app is at the core of this role, where you will engage in analysis, architecture design, and business-flow design. The position suits a mobile developer who thrives in an AI-first environment and enjoys automating repetitive tasks.
Responsibilities
- Develop the short drama mobile app.
- Take part in analysis, architecture design, and business-flow design.
- Research and build concepts and POC modules, proving a given technical approach can work.
- Deploy releases to the store and handle any issues that arise post-launch.
- Integrate and tune ad SDKs with mediation and waterfall, including AdMob and Max/AppLovin.
- Optimize video playback for load speed, playback quality, and file size, especially for distant markets.
- Integrate and verify tracking using Firebase and AppsFlyer to ensure accurate data for user acquisition.
- Utilize an AI coding assistant as part of the daily routine for scaffolding, tests, reading logs, and tracing bugs.
- Automate the repetitive steps of the build and release pipeline.
- Collaborate with the AI film production team to automate the integration of films into the app, including metadata and subtitles.
- Propose and experiment with AI features in the product, such as recommendations and automatic translation.
- Introduce new AI technology into the workflow, with the freedom to experiment and propose new ideas.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience building mobile applications on Android, with a real app shipped to the store.
- Understanding of software architecture, including MVVM, MVI, VIPER, or equivalent.
- Familiarity with design patterns and SOLID principles.
- Experience using an AI coding assistant in real work.
- Ability to research new technology and read English technical documentation.
- Self-starter who works well both in a team and independently, maintaining pace in a developing studio environment.
- Strong advantage for candidates who have integrated ad SDKs and mediation (AdMob, Max/AppLovin, Unity, IronSource).
- Strong advantage for candidates who have automated processes with AI or scripts, not just generated code.
- Strong advantage for candidates with lead or training experience.
- Advantage for candidates familiar with Jetpack Compose.
- Advantage for candidates with experience in streaming or video apps, playback, and CDN tuning.
- Advantage for candidates with apps scaled across several markets.
